Our Reflexology & Massage Studio in Swadlincote, Derbyshire has truly been a labour of love born out of a smidge of an idea after being made redundant nearly two years ago.

I wanted to create a safe space for people to come and have their treatments without any rush, without clock~watching, worried that the next client was due to turn up, whilst I was still talking to my current client.

It is because I have experienced this feeling as a customer, being made to feel uncomfortable that I thought how lovely it would be to design somewhere for ladies to come along without that fear.

 It has also been designed 'exclusively' for ladies, as we really don't get time to relax or feel nurtured  and grounded enough.

I am based in my home town, Swadlincote, a place I love, where I grew up the very proud daughter of  a Swadlincote Fireman and wonderful mum and where ​​I still live and work,  in the very heart of The National Forest.​

  I currently see clients from home and offer Holistic Therapies such as Reflexology, Massages and Facial Treatments but once The Sanctuary is 'officially' open, we will be hopefully offering sound bath evenings and holding special events on an holistic level.  ​

Because I see clients on a strictly one to one basis, I ensure there are never back to back appointments and, as I believe everyone's appointment needs are different, timings can vary per client​; because of this, appointments are booked out with a gap of at least 30 minutes between each client which will ensure that clients do not feel rushed or stressed before or after their treatment(s).

We will have two rooms ; one will be The Retreat Room, a private space where clients can change before their appointment (snuggle robes will be on hand as are our 'complimentary' slippers)

The room will also be a place to enjoy a nice complimentary tea or coffee, health and wellness books/magazines will be left out for you to enjoy whilst you are here.

Your appointment includes a full consultation; checking contraindications, medical issues, and any questions you might like to ask, regarding the treatment, then ascertaining what you would like to achieve in each of our sessions.​​​

 

I source Vegan products wherever possible and ALL the products I use are cruelty free.
